I am proud to announce that MasterCrafters will be merging with the very popular server Savage Realms. We have been in talks with the owners of Savage Realms for a little while now and have determined that the best move for both of the servers is this merge. As you may know MasterCrafters recently broke the 100 player mark for the first time, we then the next day had 120+ on the server. This was a very good accomplishment for MasterCrafters because as you know many servers don’t break the 100 player mark ever. While we were running around 100 players Savage Realms was running 140-160 players on at one time with next to zero lag. Now if you guys know basic math this could mean a potential 200+ player server when this merge happens. Now as most of you know the 200 player mark has been broke by very few servers and we have the potential to blow that out of the water with this merge. Now im sure you are wondering well what does this mean for me as a player? What we are planning on doing is opening up a chest storage area at spawn where players will be able to store their inventories in chests that you the players lock. Putting your inventory in the chests will be the only way you will be able to keep it after the merge. Now regarding all the houses that all of our players have made, we will be world editing them over to Savage Realms map but this is by request ONLY we will not simple do it for everyone you must make a request on the website. We know that this will be a big change for almost everybody on the server except very new players which we will try to make as easy as possible. We will also be making a MasterCrafters town that you all will be able to join so you are free from grief and stealing that takes place in the wild. Now for all of you who have donated for ranks on MasterCrafters we will personally (hungoverfurball and jamiebuddha) talk to all of you and determine with the owners of savage realms what rank you will get it will most likely not be a 1 to 1 match of abilities but we will try to get you as close as possible. When the merge actually takes place our IP play.master-crafters.com will start routing to the Savage Realms server. We are hoping that most of you will continue to play and have fun on the new merged server and enjoy this change; this server will hopefully if all goes well be 100% lag free which will be better than any of the other servers in our new position. Also you may be wondering what will be happening to the owners of MasterCrafters, well Hungoverfurball and Jamiebuddha will be welcomed onto Savage Realms as co-owners and kyles96 will be welcomed on at first as a MOD and have the potential to be promoted. The current staff of MasterCrafters Backspace_key, Tabangi36, and iwantspeed will be put in various positions on Savage Realms. Also please respect the owners of Savage Realms they are acidsin and cr0ssVTW please feel free to ask them questions and get to know them. As I said above we know this will be a HUGE change for all of our players which we do apologize about. Both of the servers will work out the best possible way for this to be as easy as possible. Please look at the in-game auto broadcasts for more info along with signs at spawn as they will have more information for you guys.
